And here is our kitchen after the remodel! Taken March 2009. We upgraded to granite, painted the cabinets, got new cabinet pulls and new hardwood flooring!
We purchased new appliances right after we bought the house back in '06. We have Kenmore stainless steel appliances and they've performed very well for us so far. We purchased the warranties on our dishwasher and fridge and I'm so glad we did. Sears services both the fridge and the DW for free each year. 
Paint colors:
Walls: Behr's Barley Field
Cabinets: Behr's Aristocrat White
Still lots of work to be done here. Will post more photos when accessories are added!
